So… If you’re looking for something fun, exciting and worthwhile to do in Johannesburg on a wonderful, (hopefully) very warm morning in November, I have the perfect solution for you.
Yesterday I was telling you about the 94.7 Cycle Challenge and all the wonderful people who are riding to support me… well they’re going to need some support too, so The Vrede Foundation has set up an awesome spectator / water point where the public can go along, watch the race, partake in some awesome activities, enjoy the amazing vibe and most importantly, support Young People Living With Cancer.
You’ll have an opportunity to meet some of the Vrede Foundation team, the riders, supporters and even a cancer patient (yours truly) or two. I would really love to meet the people who are following my journey so closely and who give me so much support so if you’re in town, or there’s any way that you can get into town on the morning of 18 November, please pop in, say hi, give me a hug and allow me to thank you in person for all of your support.
Here are the details….
If you need any more info (directions, etc) just shout. Also if you’d like to volunteer at this or any of the Vrede Foundation events, please let me know, you will be amazed at how something like this will enrich your life.
I truly hope to see you there. Please feel free to share this invitation with your friends and family, it really is a worthy cause (trust me) and it will be a morning you will never forget.
Please let me know if you’re going to be there, I’d like to keep a look out for you.
